What pump handles rendering raw material and offal?

Seal-less peristaltic pumps and AODD pumps, such as Enviroflex, pass high-solids, abrasive offal without clogging, and the enclosed VUMP System moves offal and by-product to screening. For high-throughput lines, heavy-duty Lamella pumps carry demanding material at volume.

How do you pump hot tallow, fats, and grease?

Positive displacement rotary lobe pumps, such as Ampco's, move hot, viscous fats and molten tallow with steady flow that holds up as viscosity rises. For thin, hot process streams, sanitary centrifugal pumps are more efficient.

Can you handle DAF sludge, grease trap waste, and stickwater?

Yes. AODD and peristaltic pumps handle abrasive, greasy DAF sludge and grease-trap waste, tolerating solids and running dry. Thin streams like stickwater and press liquor suit high-flow centrifugal pumps.

What is used for blood transfer in rendering?

Peristaltic hose pumps are ideal for blood and coagulating product. The hose is the only wetted part, so there are no seals or impellers to foul, clog, or shear.

What is the best pump for a high-throughput rendering plant?
